The experience of birthing a baby naturally is one of the most powerful, connected, joyous and spiritual moments in a woman’s life. However, journeying through the unknown territory of how to facilitate normal, natural birth in today's technology driven and medically oriented world, can feel overwhelming and confusing.  For this reason, we carefully considered the needs of expectant couples when creating the learning environment and support system for our Holistic Choices and Our Time HypnoBirthing ® Courses

Holistic Choices - Small Group HypnoBirthing ® Course – $275
The perfect choice for couples who desire to learn HypnoBirthing ® – The Mongan Method in a focused, intimate small group setting.

Our Time – Private HypnoBirthing ® Course - $275
Designed to accommodate the scheduling needs of couples who cannot attend our Holistic Choices Course dates and times or who simply prefer to learn HypnoBirthing ® – The Mongan Method in the setting of your own home.

Couples who take an Our Time or Holistic Choices HypnoBirthing ® Course options enjoy the following benefits

A Comfortable and Relaxed Environment 
Our Holistic Choices and Our Time HypnoBirthing ® class location is in a beautiful and relaxing setting with comfortable chairs, pillows and blankets for added comfort and individual preferences. Extras such as soy-based essential oil candles are often added.

Focused Education 
In a study, which looked at more than 6,000 students over a period of 10 years, results showed that substantial improvement in learning and cognitive studies are achieved in a small group setting. We accommodate no more than 8 couples in each class to ensure the best educational setting for success.
This small student to teacher ratio allows enough time for questions and answers as we move through each class. We take care of all payment and registration prior to the first class to allow maximum time for course content. Our Holistic Choices and Our Time students will receive the course text book, HypnoBirthing ® - The Mongan Method and Rainbow Relaxation CD upon receipt of the class deposit. This allows students to read the book prior to attending the course and to immediately begin listening to affirmations and to practice visualization techniques that are core to the program.

One on One Personalized Support
Your Certified HypnoBirthing ® practitioner is accessible and available by email and phone to answer questions or address any specific needs. Upon request, additional fear release sessions are offered to all Holistic Choices and Our Time HypnoBirthing ® students at no additional charge. Should the need arise, Awakened Touch offers breech turning sessions, at no additional charge to students who have taken a Holistic Choices or Our Time HypnoBirthing ® Course.  Studies show that hypnosis is 80% effective in turning breech babies. At the time of this posting my personal success rate using hypnosis, visualization and connection with the baby is 75%.

Nutritional Support
Organic juices, teas and filtered water are provided at no charge at all Our Time and Holistic Choices classes. The class location accommodates and supports the couple’s nutritional needs by encouraging students to bring snacks or even a skipped meal to eat during lecture as nutrition is most important for mom, baby and supports the internal learning environment. Students have access to a microwave, refrigerator, sink and dishware. Most student groups opt for a pot-luck during the last class together.

Guest Speakers
As available, guest couples from prior HypnoBirthing ® courses, are invited to come speak to our couples enrolled in the Holistic Choices HypnoBirthing ® Course. It’s always great to hear about their successful birth stories, meet the babies and ask questions. Our Time students are welcome to join us.

Flexible Scheduling
For Holistic Choices students a group conscience on changing class dates or times due to special events can be taken in circumstances such as classes falling on holidays or special events in Kauai.
When “life happens” and an illness or unexpected interruption in class attendance occurs, class make-ups with the instructor are available at no charge to both Holistic Choices and Our Time students.
Private 1-2 class pre-scheduling is available if for Holistic Choices  couples who know they have a scheduling conflict during a certain date or dates, when signing up for a course, at a nominal fee of $25 per class. Changing class dates and times are at no additional cost to Our Time couples.

Other Valuable Resources
For all Holistic Choices or Our Time students local resources and references for birth doulas professionally trained to support HypnoBirthing ® as well as acupuncturists, chiropractors and massage therapists, are available for additional services by professionals specifically trained to meet the needs of pregnant women. Many additional resources not listed here are provided to our students as situations or specific questions arise.

Please enroll as early as possible in your pregnancy to fully prepare yourself for your birth. Unlike other childbirth preparation classes, no time is “too soon” due to the nature of this birthing method. These classes are most effective when you have developed a lifestyle throughout your pregnancy that supports a positive mind and healthy body. Be prepared to spend 20-30 minutes each day until your birth on practicing techniques, toning your body and conditioning your mind.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space in the class.  The HypnoBirthing ® Manual and CD is mailed to you upon receipt of your deposit.
